Powerful! The Maori, natives of New Zealand, have always known about the extraordinary properties of this honey. It originates from Manuka myrtle, also called tea tree or just Manuka. It has a strong taste, smells very resinous and has a delicate caramel brown colour. It charms all the senses with its slightly minty finish. Our beekeeper recommends: Manuka honey is best eaten on an empty stomach, pure or dissolved in lukewarm water. Never mix with hot liquids.
